PZL-Świdnik: Bartosz Mateusz Śliwa has been appointed new CEO. The Świdnik helicopter plant continues its robust industrial plan

On October 24th 2025, the Supervisory Board of PZL-Świdnik appointed Bartosz Mateusz Śliwa as President of the Management Board of PZL-Świdnik.

Bartosz Mateusz Śliwa, until now the Member of the Management Board of PZL-Świdnik, has been responsible for PZL-Świdnik's production since 2017, while having been in the company since 2013. Bartosz Mateusz Śliwa, managing the production operations of the Świdnik plant, from 2022, has occupied the position of Director of Leonardo's aerospace structures production plant in Brindisi (Italy).

The new CEO of PZL-Świdnik has extensive knowledge and experience in manufacturing: process management, planning, logistics, as well as digital transformation, automation, and supply chain management. He also gained this knowledge prior to joining Leonardo, in the automotive industry, where he participated in greenfield projects in Europe. His extensive business and international experience, along with his expertise in industrial manufacturing, will be beneficial to the organization and the company's current and future projects.

The new appointed CEO will be supported by Eva Usó Enrique, member of the Management Board of PZL-Świdnik, and by two new appointed members: Grzegorz Wyszyński and Mariusz Wawron.

Eva Usó Enrique is the CFO of PZL-Świdnik since 2022. She is a seasoned, multilingual engineer with Corporate MBA and an extensive international experience in the aerospace sector gained through different roles with Leonardo S.p.A. Helicopters division since 2009. Her current responsibilities span from business control & cost controlling to administration, statutory reporting & taxation and treasury activities. She also plays a vital role in the Company's strategic initiatives.

Grzegorz Wyszyński, who has been associated with PZL-Świdnik since 2019, is the Director of Polish Helicopter Programs. In this capacity he plays a key pivotal role in interfacing with the National Customers of the Company, to sustain its further development and growth. Grzegorz Wyszyński has extensive experience in the helicopter industry, gained both domestically and internationally, having been with Leonardo since 2011.

Mariusz Wawron, associated with PZL-Świdnik since 2010, currently serves as Director of Legal, Corporate, and Compliance Affairs. He specializes in the legal aspects of functioning of defence companies, as well as transactions related to the supply of military and civilian equipment to domestic and international customers.

The new PZL-Świdnik management board will continue the ongoing investments in the further, dynamic development of the Świdnik plant: its production capacity, product portfolio and services. The new PZL-Świdnik management board will continue its efforts to increase the Świdnik plant's participation in Polish helicopter programs, both current and future.

PZL-Świdnik is responding to the growing demands placed on the defence industry through investments and further competency development to provide comprehensive support to institutional customers, including the Polish Armed Forces, as well as collaboration with the Polish supply chain to ensure maximum industrial benefits, sovereignty and resilience of the country. PZL-Świdnik will continue to pursue this path. This will also enable the company to maintain solid partnerships with Polish government on key requirements and ensure PZL-Świdnik's readiness to meet all the needs expressed by strategic customers, while also providing significant support for national security and economic development.

An example of this is the AW149 programme, which also brought benefits in the form of new industrial skills for the company and its employees and gave impetus to the further development of production capabilities for current and future domestic helicopter programmes.
